Zircon Craft Journey

Transparency is core to our values, and we are proud to share the journey of each Kritalia Cubic Zirconia precious stone with our clients. In 2019, we collaborated with labs that developed Cubic Zirconia, an initiative providing provenance information detailing the origin regions or countries for each newly sourced, individually registered Cubic Zirconia supplier.

Vertical Integration

For over two decades, Kritalia & Co. has invested in the sustainability and accountability of our supply chain. Through a vertically integrated model, we maintain ownership and operation of polishing workshops in Italy, Thailand, Vietnam,   Cambodia, a dedicated gemological laboratory in New York, and jewelry manufacturing workshops across Italy and Spain. This integration provides a secure chain of custody for raw materials, direct control over our manufacturing practices, and a proactive role in advancing global standards. Our facilities are run to the highest standards, fostering safe, healthy, and welcoming workplaces. We train and employ skilled artisans, offering competitive wages in developing regions to uplift and support local communities.

Supplier Engagement

Responsible sourcing at Kritalia & Co. centers on human rights, fair labor, and environmental stewardship. Our Social and Environmental Accountability (SEA) program embeds these practices across our supply chain. Moving beyond traditional audits, we engage directly with suppliers to uphold high-performance sourcing standards, ensuring our values are reflected throughout the Cubic Zirconia supply network.

Cubic Zirconia Precious Stones

With the sourcing of Cubic Zirconia and the prominence of labs that developed it, achieving complete traceability for every precious stone remains challenging. Nonetheless, we adhere to rigorous sourcing protocols for various Cubic Zirconia stones in our collections. We collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders through our Source Warranty Protocol to increase traceability and enhance our social and environmental footprint. We aim to improve these efforts in crucial sourcing regions by 2030.
